Lotus targets top three championship finish

– Lotus has set its sights on a top three finish in the 2014 Formula 1 championship, having bounced back from a dismal start to the campaign which saw the team fail to claim a point from the opening four races. With budgetary issues affecting its pre-season preparations and Renault's early engine troubles having a major impact on performance levels, Lotus had suffered a clutch of retirements and failed to break into the top ten.
