Date revealed for Leimer's prize F1 run

GP2 Champion Fabio Leimer will get to test a 2012 Lotus F1 car at Paul Ricard next week, it has been announced. The test is part of his prize for winning last year's support category and has been made possible by Pirelli. It will take place on Tuesday 27 May with Lotus F1 race driver Pastor Maldonado and Lotus reserve driver Nicolas Prost on hand to offer advice. Lotus F1 deputy team principal Federico Gastaldi will also be present, along with Pirelli's racing manager Mario Isola. “We're delighted that Fabio will get the chance to drive a Formula One car as part of his prize for winning GP2, underlining our commitment to do everything we can to help our GP2 drivers reach the top,” said...
