Monaco Practice 2: Alonso puts Ferrari on top

Fernando Alonso fastest in FP2 Fernando Alonso put aside talk of his disenchantment with Ferrari, by powering to top spot on the timing sheets in Free Practice 2 of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The afternoon session on the Cote D'Azure started off damp after a lunchtime cloud burst, but as the session progressed times dropped with Alonso, really cranking it up on his final flying lap, powering around in 1:18.482 which was 1.2 seconds faster than next best Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull.
