Rosberg keeps pole, stewards take no further action

Nico Rosberg will start tomorrow's Monaco Grand Prix from pole position after the stewards chose to take no further action over the controversial incident at Mirabeau. The German driver locked up and took to the escape road on his final lap in Q3, which brought out the yellow flags and meant his team-mate Lewis Hamilton was unable to improve his time and challenge for the top spot. His second pole in Monaco had been under threat after the stewards decided to investigate the off-track excursion. However, they decided that no offense was committed.
