Pirelli President Marco Tronchetti Provera has responded to some of the criticism aimed at the Italian tyremaker during its time as Formula One supplier. Pirelli re-entered F1 as sole supplier in 2013 and for most of the first year, the tyres were labeled too 'aggressive' and after the British Grand Prix - where several blow-outs occurred - a mid-season construction had to be made.
