Pirelli boss responds to criticism

Pirelli President Marco Tronchetti Provera has responded to some of the criticism aimed at the Italian tyremaker during its time as Formula One supplier. Pirelli re-entered F1 as sole supplier in 2013 and for most of the first year, the tyres were labeled too 'aggressive' and after the British Grand Prix - where several blow-outs occurred - a mid-season construction had to be made. So far this year, most of the drivers have been less critical, although Fernando Alonso was once again unhappy during last week's Monaco Grand Prix.
