Alonso happy with early signs from updates

Sutton Images Enlarge Fernando Alonso was happy with the work Ferrari managed to get through with its new updates on the F14 T during Friday practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. Ferrari brought aerodynamic upgrades as well as a boost for the power unit, providing plenty of work for the team on Friday. Alonso said good progress was made during the two practice sessions but the team now has to understand exactly how the new parts are working. "I am reasonably pleased with the day's testing as we got through a lot of work without encountering any particular problems," he said.
