Gutierrez forced to miss qualifying due to chassis change

Sauber driver Esteban Gutierrez will miss qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix after a crash in third practice. The Mexican lost control of his Ferrari-powered C33 at turn three and spun into the barrier, causing a brief red flag. The team confirmed after final practice that he will be unable to take part in qualifying due to a chassis change. The two-hour gap between the 60-minute session and qualifying was not enough time for Sauber to build up the spare chassis. He will therefore start tomorrow's Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve from the back of the grid. Image courtesy of Octane Photographic
