Caterham drivers report from qualifying in Montreal

Kamui Kobayashi Caterham drivers and team report from qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, Round 7 of the 2014 Formula 1 world championship, at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on the Ile Notre Dame in Montreal. Kamui Kobayashi, car #10, chassis CT05-#02: “FP3 started more positively than yesterday. The tyre warm-up was better and we made a good improvement to the braking so the work done last night looked like it had paid off. We still needed to work on traction and taking out some of the understeer I had in the chicanes, but overall it was better. “We ran through the programme until the performance run when I had to stop the car with a transmission problem.
