Rob Smedley says the lap that Sebastian Vettel pulled out in qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix was “monumental”. Vettel managed to outqualify both Williams cars – beating Valtteri Bottas by just 0.002s – despite having appeared well off the pace on his first run in Q3.
