Lotus suffers double retirement

Lotus F1 Team The Canadian Grand Prix turned out to be a disappointing affair for Lotus as neither Romain Grosjean nor Pastor Maldonado were able to complete the race. Grosjean suffered rear wing damage and was retired late on due to safety reasons. "Today was not great in terms of pace for me, however there are some positives looking forwards," he said. "We can see that a Renault team can win a race so we have a target there, especially when the win came at a circuit that is not thought to be one of the stronger ones for them.
