Perez and Massa released

Sergio Perez and Felipe Massa have been released from hospital following their dramatic final lap crash during the Canadian Grand Prix.The Williams driver tagged the rear tyre of the Mexican at the second quickest part of the circuit firing both cars into the barriers. Sky Sports F1's Ted Kravitz reported that Massa hit the tyre wall with a force of 27G. Both drivers were taken to hospital in Montreal for precautionary checks following the accident, but were quickly released. The incident is currently under investigation by the race stewards.
