Vergne hails 'career best' race

Jean-Eric Vergne believes that his own performance during the Canadian Grand Prix was one of the best of his Formula 1 career.
While Vergne did not match his result of sixth from last year's event, the French driver believes that his eighth place finish was a just rewards for the efforts of him and his Toro Rosso team.
"I'm extremely happy as I feel I gave my best today," he said.
"It was a good race, maybe the best of my Formula 1 career so far, not in terms of results but I think everything went perfect and we finally scored some points.
"I was able to gain a position on [Fernando] Alonso after a good start and I could keep [Kevin] Magnussen...
