Chilton's record run ends with a penalty

Max Chilton had finished all the 25 races he had competed in before the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday in what was a record run for the Briton. But the streak ended in Montreal in an abyssal way after he lost control of his car at Turn 3 on the opening lap and clipped teammate Jules Bianchi sending him into the barriers. Chilton’s race a little further ahead due to the damage he had collected due to the impact. Marussia had scored its first points in Formula One in the preceding Monaco GP but any hopes of carrying the momentum forward was nipped in the bud in Canada.
