Restrictive rules to blame for Newey F1 exit

Adrian Newey has revealed that the restrictive nature of Formula One’s current regulations were the major reason behind his decision to scale back his involvement with Red Bull Racing from next year onwards. Ahead of Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix Red Bull confirmed that Newey would be taking a step back from his full-time design work at the team, moving into an advisory role while he purses other side projects.
