Horner: Ricciardo victory justifies promotion

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes that Daniel Ricciardo's victory in the Canadian Grand Prix shows that the decision to promote the Australian from Toro Rosso was correct. Ricciardo made his debut with HRT in 2011 before moving to Toro Rosso for 2012 and 2013. Following Mark Webber's retirement, Red Bull opted to promote Ricciardo to Red Bull.
