Mercedes looking to make car ‘bullet-proof’

Nico Rosberg says Mercedes has used the time since the Canadian Grand Prix to try and make its car “bullet-proof”. Both Rosberg and team-mate Lewis Hamilton ran in to trouble at the same time of the race in Montreal when they lost drive from their MGU-K and Hamilton soon had to retire with overheating rear brakes. Rosberg admitted he was pleased to finish second and extend his championship lead but says Mercedes has been working hard to avoid a repeat of the reliability issues. “Although it was a really, really tough day, I'm pleased with the result in Montreal,” Rosberg said. “The car was strong throughout the weekend, so to have the problems we experienced in the race was not...
