Alonso hints at Ferrari Le Mans entry

Fernando Alonso says he and Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo have spoken about a future Ferrari LMP1 entry. Alonso started the 2014 edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours, while he also did a demonstration lap at the wheel of the Ferrari 512 S which was entered in to the 1970 race. Speaking to the Ferrari website about his day at Le Mans, Alonso said he would like to compete in the race at some stage and hinted that Ferrari has an interest too. “It's nice to be here and you can feel a special mood linked to this really fascinating form of racing,” Alonso said. “It would be nice to actually take part on track one day.
