Formula One returns to the Austrian mountains for the first time since 2003. The track layout of the circuit near Spielberg is still the same as 11 years ago, but all the rest has been dramatically changed and upgraded. The Austrian Grand Prix has inextricable links to Styria, located in the south east of the country. Zeltweg Airfield staged the inaugural race in 1964, with the magnificent Osterreichring becoming its permanent home from 1970 amidst the growing popularity of Austrian Jochen Rindt.
