Toro Rosso handed €10,000 suspended fine

Toro Rosso has been handed a suspended €10,000 (£8,000, $13,500) fine for a tyre mishap during the opening practice session. In 2014, teams are handed an extra set of prime tyres which can be used in the first 30 minutes of the session, but not after. Jean-Eric Vergne was found to have breached the 30 minute limit by a few seconds and therefore breached the regulations. The fine is suspended and only has to be paid if the team repeat the offence before the end of the season.
