The FIA has warned against running wide at turn eight with punishment likely should they do it repeatedly during the race. Several drivers had their fastest qualifying lap time deleted on Saturday after all four wheels crossed the white line denoting the circuit boundary. A note issued by Charlie Whiting on Sunday morning said the stewards would be keeping an eye out for any drivers who gain an unfair advantage by running wide, or those who do it on several occasions.
