Smedley instils 'no fear' attitude at Williams

Getty Images Enlarge Rob Smedley has told his Williams team that it should be approaching every grand prix weekend expecting to be competitive, not just select tracks. At the Austrian Grand Prix Williams showed its potential with third- and fourth-placed finishes after locking out the front row of the grid in qualifying. The circuit appeared to suit the characteristics of the car, but Smedley said the team should not approach any of the races on the calendar with concerns the car might not be quick.
