'Ferrari seeking new turbo'

Ferrari are reportedly seeking a new company to supply them with turbos after losing ground to Mercedes at the start of the V6 era. This season, as F1 made the switch to 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engines, Mercedes have come to the fore with their power unit undoubtedly the best in the field. Ferrari, meanwhile, have lagged behind prompting the team to consider changes. One change could be to their turbo supplier. According to Italy's Autosprint, Ferrari have "opened dialogue with suppliers to seek alternative solutions."
