Frijns to replace Kobayashi in FP1 for Caterham

Robin Frijns Caterham reserve driver Robin Frijns will be on duty in FP1 at Silverstone this weekend, in place of the team's regular driver Kamui Kobayashi. Frijns said of his second opportunity in the cockpit of the CT05, 'I'm back in the 2014 car for the first time since Bahrain and excited about getting back in the cockpit and helping us make some progress again, and seeing how the car has developed since early April.' The highly rated Dutchman was on FP1 duty last time in Bahrain and more recently as part of the Caterham roadshow team in Russia.
