F1 drivers opinion was sought on standing restarts

Almost all of the 22 drivers on the grid objected to standing restarts when the proposal was run past them, Daniel Ricciardo has revealed. Despite this, the idea has been pushed through for 2015, which means, under most circumstances, the cars will form up on the grid after each safety car period for a restart. When asked the drivers had a chance to express their opinion on the change, Ricciardo said: "We did, we all pretty much disagreed as far as I am aware. "I will let the veteran drivers speak their minds. I said I don't think it is the best thing. We will see what other drivers say about it."
