Mansell to be F1 driver steward at British GP

– Former Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell will be the FIA's driver steward at the British Grand Prix this weekend, a role he has performed at Silverstone for the past four years in succession.Mansell claimed 32 pole positions, 31 race victories and 28 further podium finishes during his time at the pinnacle of the sport, starting 187 grand's prix in total and winning his sole world title with Williams in 1992.The last time he was a FIA driver steward was at the United States Grand Prix at the end of last season.The 60-year-old joins Dr Gerd Ennser and Tim Mayer, son of former McLaren Team Principal Teddy Mayer, on the panel.
