Button finished fourth, 0.8s shy of Ricciardo, after reeling in the Red Bull in the closing stages of the race. He felt he had the pace to pass had the race gone on an extra lap. "We would have had a good go," he said. "I think I crossed the line 0.8s behind him so if there had been another lap and I had DRS I would have passed him easy.
