Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull young driver Carlos Sainz Jr has confirmed that discussions have been held with a view to placing him in Formula 1 with Caterham, perhaps as early as this season. Sainz currently leads the Formula Renault 3.5 championship and has been widely tipped to move into Formula 1 next year with Red Bull's junior team, Toro Rosso.
