McLaren confirms it will remove FRIC in Germany

McLaren has confirmed that it will remove its FRIC (front to rear inter-connected) suspension system for the German Grand Prix. The outfit is the first to confirm that it is taking the step and it's likely all other teams will follow suit to ensure they comply with the regulations, after the FIA revealed that it deemed the systems illegal. "McLaren does not currently intend to run a FRIC suspension system at the German Grand Prix," a McLaren spokesman told Autosport. "McLaren will comply with the FIA's rulings on the matter."
