Alonso: We need to reduce gap to Red Bull

Scuderia Ferrari Fernando Alonso says that Ferrari must start reducing the gap to Red Bull if they are to have any hopes of beating the reigning world champions to second place this season. Ferrari is currently in third place in the Constructors' championship but has slipped 62 points behind their rivals, with Williams now just three points behind the Italian team. "Being realistic, this will be another tough weekend, with hot temperatures and running the Soft and Supersoft tyres automatically means tyre management will be necessary in these temperatures," Alonso said ahead of this weekend's German Grand Prix.
