FIA: No teams running FRIC

Mercedes have confirmed that they won't run their FRIC suspension system at this weekend's German GP.The decision by the runaway championship leaders follows confirmation by McLaren, Red Bull and Toro Rosso that they would also ditch FRIC, the legality of which was questioned by FIA technical delegate Charlie Whiting last week.It is believed that Mercedes have the led the way in developing so-called front-rear interconnected suspension systems, which offer a performance advantage by maintaining a consistent ride height, and therefore have the most to lose by removing theirs.Sunday's race will reveal the extent to which the move will affect the Silver Arrow's dominance - although speculation...
