Alonso relaxed after hot Friday

Fernando Alonso says he had no issues with the supersoft Pirelli tyres despite finishing a second off the pace in practice. Although the Ferrari driver was the closest challenger to the Mercedes duo in FP2, he fell off the pace when the drivers swapped to the supersofts in the afternoon's session. Clocking a 1:19.329 on a sweltering hot Hockenheimring, Alonso was 0.988s off the pace set by Lewis Hamilton on the supersoft tyres. But despite the deficit, the Spaniard says there was nothing wrong.
