Sergio Perez is confident he can turn in a strong race day performance in the German Grand Prix, even if he believes the searing temperatures at the Hockenheimring will make qualifying relatively difficult. With track temperatures rising to almost 60 degrees as Germany bathes in a heatwave spreading across Europe this weekend, Perez endured an indifferent day in the Sahara Force India, the Mexican ending FP2 with the 13th best lap time.
