Massa gets the job done

Felipe Massa was content with Williams' work during qualifying in Germany and is now looking forward to race day. With Lewis Hamilton crashing out in Q1, it left the door open for Massa and Williams team-mate Valtteri Bottas to have a straight fight for pole with the other Mercedes of Nico Rosberg. However, the German got the better of both of them and will start his home race in pole with Bottas second on the grid and Massa third. "We managed to put a lap together even though we were not able to have the perfect car," Massa said after qualifying. "We still did a very good lap and I'm quite happy with the result and our car.
