Young drivers need to calm down - Massa

Getty Images Enlarge Felipe Massa believes the latest generation of Formula One drivers are more accident prone than when he first started in the top flight. Massa was involved in an accident on the first lap of the German Grand Prix with rookie Kevin Magnussen and was critical of the McLaren driver's approach to the first corner. He believes young drivers in F1 need to ease off a bit early in the race. "Honestly, I don't remember in the past that this type of accident happening all the time," Massa said.
