Pirro named driver steward for Hungary
– Emanuele Pirro will be the FIA driver steward at the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend, carrying out the task for the eighth time.Pirro contested 38 Formula 1 events between 1989 and 1991, spending his rookie season with Benetton before a two-year stint at Scuderia Italia. His best result was a fifth place in Austria.He enjoyed more success elsewhere, however, and notched up five victories at the world famous Le Mans 24 Hours. He was also the American Le Mans Champion in 2001 and 2005 and in addition also won the German and Italian Touring Car championships.The last time he was a FIA driver steward was at the Australian Grand Prix at the start of the season.The 51-year-old joins...
