Brembo still searching for cause of Hamilton's brake disc failure

Mercedes and Brembo have so far failed to discover the cause of Lewis Hamilton's brake disc failure from the first qualifying session of the German Grand Prix weekend. The Brit crashed out of Q1 at the Hockenheimring due to the problem. They will continue to investigate the incident and will share the results as soon as they have them. 'There is currently no clear evidence of a single cause of failure and our continuing rigorous analysis will take into account multiple factors which could have contributed to the incident', read a statement released by Mercedes and Brembo today.
