Hamilton knocked out of qualifying after fire

For the second consecutive race, Lewis Hamilton has failed to progress to the second qualifying session. A fire in Q1 at the Hungaroring means he will start outside the top 20. The Brit had topped all three practice sessions for the Hungarian Grand Prix and was a favourite to take pole position for tomorrow's race. However, he was forced to park his car just prior to the start of the pit lane after a suspected fuel leak caused the back of his Mercedes W05 to burst into flames. The team has yet to confirm what caused the leak. Hamilton was told to abandon the car by Mercedes and the fire was quickly extinguished. He will once again have to fight through the field, after a brake disc failure...
