Raikkonen handicapped as Ferrari brain fade continues

Having swallowed the bitter pill of making poor strategic decisions at the British Grand Prix earlier this month, Ferrari continued to make amateur calls costing Kimi Raikkonen a chance to add some decent points to his dismal season. During the first leg of qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday, with Lotus’ Pastor Maldonado and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton knocked out early, the Italian team kept the Finn in the garage in hope that its driver proceeds to Q2 without having to do another run. After all, with a maximum of six eliminations, two covered by Maldonado and Hamilton, Ferrari reckoned that neither of the Marussia or Caterham drivers would make an improvement....
