Hamilton to start Hungarian GP from pit lane

Lewis Hamilton will start today's Hungarian Grand Prix from the pit lane after his engine fire during yesterday's qualifying session. The Brit was on his out lap at the Hungaroring when a fuel leak caused the rear of his Mercedes W05 to burst into flames. He failed to set a lap time and ended the session in 21st position, having previously topped all three practice sessions. However, he was given permission by the stewards to race, as was Pastor Maldonado after the Lotus driver also stopped in the opening minutes of Q1. Mercedes has yet to confirm what caused the fuel leak, but the damage Hamilton's car sustained in the fire was serious enough to mean he will start from the pit lane. 'I...
