Axed Caterham staff to sue team

Getty Images Enlarge Related Links News: New Caterham owners restructure team Caterham is facing legal action from around 40 former members of staff who were axed by the team following its recent takeover. Lawyers have been appointed to represent the former employees removed by the team before the German Grand Prix, part of a bid to make the team more financially viable. The team was purchased on July 2 by a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, advised by former HRT principal Colin Kolles. A spokesperson for the former employees said the dismissal of the group was done without warning or consultation and will result in significant compensation claims against the team. They...
