‘He still managed to crash in to Jules’

Marussia sporting director Graeme Lowdon says Pastor Maldonado's collision with Jules Bianchi could have been “incredibly costly”. During an incident-packed race, Maldonado ran in to Bianchi at Turn 1 when trying to overtake the Marussia, damaging both cars as a result. Bianchi was limited to 15th place but Marussia remains ninth in the constructors' championship as Sauber failed to score with Adrian Sutil less than a second away from the points.
