Ferrari dismiss reports Fry has been axed

+ Ferrari has dismissed claims that engineering director Pat Fry has parted company with the team. Sky Sports F1 reported on Tuesday morning that Fry, 50, was the most recent casualty of Ferrari’s efforts to reorganise following a disappointing 2014 season in which it is still yet to win, with Fernando Alonso’s second place finish in Hungary last weekend the Scuderia’s best result of the year. Fry would be the third high profile casualty to face the axe at Ferrari this year, following team principal Stefano Domenicali’s resignation in April, as well as the reported sacking of engine chief Luca Marmorini earlier this month.
