Vergne rues 'too many' retirements

While Jean-Eric Vergne says it has been a good first half of the season for him, he concedes there have been some negatives. Vergne entered his third season with Toro Rosso with a lot to prove having missed out on a Red Bull Racing drive. Teaming up with a rookie driver in Daniil Kvyat, the Frenchman is leading his team's charge. But while he has edged Kvyat in both qualifying and races, there have also been a few disappointments for the 24-year-old, who has suffered five retirements.
