Alonso: A thing that's not true...

Fernando Alonso has taken to social media to deny speculation about his future. There has been a great deal of speculation about Alonso's future in recent months given Ferrari's woefully showing in the first half of this season. With little sign of a recovery on the cards, the double World Champion has been linked to a move to McLaren. However, more recently, reports claims he is demanding $50 million a year to stay on with Ferrari. Alonso, though, has taken to Twitter to deny the widely spreading rumours. "A thing that's not true, even if is copied a thousand times, will remain false," he tweeted. He added: "Always helpful to remember this..."
