Glock hits out at pay driver culture

Timo Glock says he would not even entertain the idea of returning to Formula 1 in light of the current pay driver culture. After a promising start to his F1 career, which included three podium results in his first two seasons, the German's career ended after 2012 when he failed to secure a seat on the 2013 grid. With Formula 1 teams selling seats to drivers with sponsorship, Glock moved to the German DTM series, securing a race win in his first season. And although two years have gone by, his frustration with Formula 1 is still evident. "It is pretty clear that in the current situation there are just three or four teams who can choose and pay for their drivers," he told HITC....
