Chilton returns after Marussia u-turn

Marussia has confirmed to Crash.net that Max Chilton will now race for the team in the Belgian Grand Prix having yesterday been replaced by Alexander Rossi. On Thursday, Rossi was announced as racing in place of Chilton due to contractual issues for the Briton. The move would have seen Rossi make his F1 race debut. However, Marussia confirmed on Friday morning that Chilton will now return in FP2 and race this weekend, with Rossi completing FP1. Chilton claimed on Thursday that he had voluntarily stepped aside to allow Marussia to raise funds by selling his seat, but Friday's developments will see Rossi step aside after the first practice session.
