Chilton to now race for Marussia in Belgium, not Rossi

Marussia announced that Max Chilton, who was dropped for the Belgian Grand Prix weekend late on Thursday, will be racing this weekend after all. The Briton lost his seat to Alexander Rossi, who was set to make his Formula One debut, over unspecified contractual issues although a statement on behalf of Chilton mentioned that he had voluntarily given up his seat to “allow the team to attract much-needed funds by selling his seat.' But during first practice on Friday, Marussia announced that Chilton will take over the car from FP2 for the rest of the weekend indicating that the aforementioned issues were now resolved.
