Rosberg wary of teams closing in

Nico Rosberg says “some of the other teams are closer” to Mercedes following practice for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Mercedes pair of Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were quickest in the two practice sessions on Friday, with Fernando Alonso the closest challenger on both occasions. However, with Williams also well suited to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Rosberg admitted he is wary of Mercedes' advantage being reduced in Belgium. “It's really great to be back at Spa,” Rosberg said. “It's a fantastic track, the flow of the circuit is great and driving Eau Rouge is tricky this year with less downforce.
