Hamilton: Rosberg said he did it on purpose to prove a point

Nico Rosberg clips the rear wheel of Lewis Hamilton during the Belgian Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton has revealed that during a meeting with Mercedes management team mate Nico Rosberg admitted to deliberately colliding with him at the Belgian Grand Prix to prove a point, in an incident which cost the team victory at Spa-Francorchamps and has further soured relations between the contenders. The incident on lap two left Hamilton with a puncture and ultimately led to the Briton's retirement from the race, while championship leader Rosberg went on to finish second and extend his lead to 29 points.
